A 90-day pivot to PPE at federal scale.
When COVID-19 fractured global supply chains, we redirected our manufacturing network to source and deliver millions of units of protective apparel to healthcare systems and government agencies — in under 90 days.

The Challenge
What the buyer was up against.
Hospital systems and public agencies needed protective apparel at a scale the existing supplier base could not service. Lead times from traditional medical distributors had ballooned to six months or longer. Inbound freight capacity was constrained and domestic inventory was exhausted.
Compliance and documentation expectations did not relax. Every unit still had to arrive with material certificates, third-party testing, and a traceable chain of custody that would hold up to federal audit.

Our Approach
What we actually did.
We re-scoped roughly a third of our manufacturing network toward medical apparel — gowns, coveralls, masks — inside the first two weeks. That meant re-tooling cutting rooms, qualifying new fabric mills against medical spec, and moving air freight into the lane plan.
We built the documentation pipeline in parallel: third-party testing at the factory, inspection reports at the port, and a full COC trail per lot so healthcare purchasers and federal procurement teams had what they needed for their auditors.
Leadership was on the phone daily with both the factory floor and the buyer — no subcontracted account managers, no handoffs.
“Getting millions of units of compliant PPE to the field in three months isn't a supply chain flex — it's what the relationships were built for.”
Outcome
How it shipped.
The first container shipped inside 90 days. Subsequent deliveries held to their quoted windows. Compliance documentation was accepted by every buyer without a re-audit cycle.
The program became a reference relationship for the federal and institutional work we do today — and confirmed the operating thesis: factory partnerships built over years, not quarters, are what let you pivot a category in weeks.
